About JRR Marketing
You finally made it!
Who we are, who we work with, and how we actually operate. The full picture, in plain English.

Let's be real.
You're not here for my life story.
You're here to grow your business.
But if you want the short version, here it is.
Let's rewind.
I'm juggling two jobs.
Barely keeping up.
Burnt out.
Broke.
One week of rent saved.
No backup plan.
So I make a choice.
I sell everything I own.
And go all in.
On myself.
On building a business from scratch.
With no clue what I'm doing.
Just a belief that there has to be a better way.
Because working just to survive isn't living.
I refuse to waste my life in a cycle I can't escape.
But this isn't my first attempt at business.
I've tried before.
Over and over.
Poured in time, money, effort.
Each time, I ended up worse off.
Maxed-out credit cards.
Unpaid invoices piling up.
Working nonstop, convinced I was this close to making it work.
Then failing again.
Call it my ignorance tax.
But I kept going.
Learned everything I could about marketing.
Watched every course.
Read every book.
Tested a thousand different things.
Failed.
Tweaked.
Rebuilt.
Then something clicked.
Fast forward two years.
I finally made it.
My agency is growing.
More leads.
More sales.
Better offices.
Higher reputation. You can read the JRR Marketing client reviews if you want to see what people actually say.
But success came at a cost.
Days blurred into weeks.
Pressure never let up.
Our fancy Melbourne CBD office reminded me how far I'd come.
And how much I'd lost.
Behind the scenes, things were falling apart.
My business partner and I didn't gel.
Our visions clashed.
The dynamic was draining.
And then my fiancé left me.
For someone else.
Everything came crashing down at once.
Something had to give.
80-hour weeks weren't just exhausting. They were destroying me.
So I made the hardest decision of my life.
I walked away.
Sold my shares.
For better or worse, it was over.
Nine months off.
No work.
No stress.
Just time to think.
Then an old client reached out.
Needed advice.
At first, I wasn't sure.
But I gave it a shot.
Four months in, we doubled their revenue.
And I realised something.
I'd been running my business the hard way.
Forced.
Rigid.
Full of stress.
But it didn't have to be like that.
I could do things differently.
Then it snowballed.
More clients.
A lot more.
I wasn't just working in a business anymore. I was building something.
Years in, I win awards. Release a book. Help 400+ businesses make $73 million. Crazy.
Now, my life is unrecognisable.
But I still remember those nights. Broke. Stressed. Doubting everything.
I know what it's like to feel stuck.
I know how hard it is to take that leap.
That's why I do this. That's what gives me purpose.
Anyway, enough about me. Tell me about you.

Who we work with
The clients we do our best work for
We are deliberately narrow. The businesses below are where our process, team and pricing fit cleanly.
Industries
Healthcare, legal, home and professional services, and ecommerce operators who need quality leads or booked appointments.
Revenue band
$1M to $10M in annual revenue is the sweet spot. We have outliers up to $50M who run on the same model.
Ad spend
Typical client spends $5,000 to $10,000 a month on Google Ads. Some clients run $100,000 to $200,000, with outliers at $1M a month.
Team setup
Owner-led businesses with one or two locations and a small team, or a client-side marketing manager we collaborate with directly.
Geographies
United States, Australia and the United Kingdom are our core markets. We sometimes take Canada and the United Arab Emirates.
Mindset
Owners who treat marketing as a long-term investment, share their numbers openly, and want senior input rather than a junior account manager.
Who we don't work with
The businesses we say no to
Fit matters more than fee. If you are on this list, we will tell you upfront and point you somewhere better.
Pre-revenue startups
If you have no funded marketing budget and no paying customers, paid media will not save the business. Build the offer and the audience first.
Fresh ecommerce with no sales history
We need at least some conversion data to work with. New stores with zero sales should validate the product before bringing us in.
B2B SaaS not committing to SEO
SaaS only works when leadership commits to long-term organic and content. If you want short-term paid lead gen only, we are not the right fit.
Casinos, crypto, MLM and adult
Outside our values and outside Google Ads policy in most cases. We do not take this work.
Day-one guarantee hunters
Our 90-day performance guarantee is real, but it is earned through onboarding. If you want a refund promise before you sign, we are not aligned.
Rude or catastrophising clients
We have fired clients before for talking down to team members or treating every dip as a crisis. Calm partnership is non-negotiable.
Channels we do not run
We do not run Facebook or Meta paid ads, and we do not do cold email outreach. We focus on the channels where we are genuinely senior, which is Google Ads, SEO and conversion work.
How we operate
The operating model behind the work
Team
Josiah is based in the United Kingdom and leads strategy across every account. A delivery team in the Philippines runs the day-to-day work, which gives us near 24-hour coverage between UK and US business hours. Every team member sits under a team leader, and an editor-in-chief reviews every ad, landing page and SEO asset against Josiah's standard before it ships. Josiah owns the weekly one-to-ones with every team member rather than logging into accounts himself.
Tools
We run our own project management tool so every brief, asset and approval lives in one place. Tracking goes through WhatConverts and Site Behavior. Fraud Blocker is enabled on every Google Ads account from day one. You keep ownership of every tool and every account if we ever part ways.
Engagement
You retain us in packets of hours on a three-month plan. Onboarding happens the same day or next business day after payment. Weeks one and two are quick wins, full tracking setup, Fraud Blocker, and any new campaigns or ads going live. You can cancel any time with 30 days notice, which covers one additional billing cycle.
Guarantee
We guarantee we will beat your current CTR, CAC, ROI or conversion rate inside 90 days. Whichever metric matters most to you is the metric we have to beat. The retainer-fee refund only applies when you pay the first three months upfront. That is the trade for offering a real performance guarantee at all. Full inclusions and exclusions are on the pricing page.
Channels we run
Where we are genuinely senior
A short list, on purpose. These are the channels we run end to end, with the same team that talks to you on the calls.
Google Ads management
Search, Performance Max, Shopping and YouTube. Structural fixes, conversion tracking, bid strategy and weekly optimisation.
SEO
Technical fixes, on-page work and content built to rank for the searches your buyers actually run.
Conversion rate optimisation
Landing pages, forms, copy and offer changes that turn the traffic you already have into more booked calls and sales.
Fractional CMO and strategy
Senior marketing leadership on retainer for owners who want a plan and an accountable partner, not another agency.
Let me guess, it's been a journey for you, right?
At the beginning, marketing was (and still is) daunting.
Up until now, you've thrown a lot of mud against the wall.
Did the whole social media thing.
Started a blog.
Tried some ads.
Hired a cheap "SEO consultant".
And nothing has worked.
"My business is run on referrals".
"Marketing doesn't work in my industry".
"My target audience is smart. Ads, fancy words, and sales psychology don't work on them".
You've accepted your fate.
But you're always keeping an eye out for some silver bullet.
Yet deep down you know that like a fad diet, instant results do not exist.
But there is good news.
With the right marketing system, you can dominate any industry, especially the "boring" ones.
If you leverage formulas based on human psychology, you can tap into the conversations already going on in people's minds.
Which allows you to say the right things, at the right time, to the right people.
And what does that get you? More leads. More customers. More patients. More sales.
So, how can you get started?
