Let's rewind.
I'm juggling two jobs.
Barely keeping up.
Burnt out.
Broke.
One week of rent saved.
No backup plan.
So I make a choice.
I sell everything I own.
And go all in.
On myself.
On building a business from scratch.
With no clue what I'm doing.
Just a belief that there has to be a better way.
Because working just to survive isn't living.
I refuse to waste my life in a cycle I can't escape.
But this isn't my first attempt at business.
I've tried before.
Over and over.
Poured in time, money, effort.
Each time, I ended up worse off.
Maxed-out credit cards.
Unpaid invoices piling up.
Working nonstop, convinced I was this close to making it work.
Then failing again.
Call it my ignorance tax.
But I kept going.
Learned everything I could about marketing.
Watched every course.
Read every book.
Tested a thousand different things.
Failed.
Tweaked.
Rebuilt.
Then something clicked.
Fast forward two years.
I finally made it.
My agency is growing.
More leads.
More sales.
Better offices.

But success came at a cost.
Days blurred into weeks.
Pressure never let up.
Our fancy Melbourne CBD office reminded me how far I'd come.
And how much I'd lost.
Behind the scenes, things were falling apart.
My business partner and I didn't gel.
Our visions clashed.
The dynamic was draining.
And then my fiancé left me.
For someone else.
Everything came crashing down at once.
Something had to give.
80-hour weeks weren't just exhausting. They were destroying me.
So I made the hardest decision of my life.
I walked away.
Sold my shares.
For better or worse, it was over.
Nine months off.
No work.
No stress.
Just time to think.
Then an old client reached out.
Needed advice.
At first, I wasn't sure.
But I gave it a shot.
Four months in, we doubled their revenue.
And I realised something.
I'd been running my business the hard way.
Forced.
Rigid.
Full of stress.
But it didn't have to be like that.
I could do things differently.
Then it snowballed.
More clients.
A lot more.
I wasn't just working in a business anymore. I was building something.
Years in, I win awards. Release a book. Help 400+ businesses make $73 million. Crazy.
Now, my life is unrecognisable.
But I still remember those nights. Broke. Stressed. Doubting everything.
I know what it's like to feel stuck.
I know how hard it is to take that leap.
That's why I do this. That's what gives me purpose.
