The role

What this job actually involves

As Head of Operations, you'll coach our Growth Specialists, work closely with the General Manager and Hiring Manager, and make sure client work runs smoothly behind the scenes.

You'll own team performance, communication, quality control, and operating rhythm. That includes reviewing campaign work, tracking client results, catching risks early, running team meetings, and helping people improve without lowering the standard.

This is a full-time leadership role for somebody who understands digital marketing well enough to coach the work, communicates directly, and is comfortable being accountable for both client retention and team output.

What you'll be doing

  • Run or review daily team check-ins, follow up on overdue work, and remove blockers before they affect delivery.
  • Hold regular one-to-one performance reviews and give direct, useful feedback that helps people improve.
  • Review Google Ads, landing-page, and SEO work before launch so deliverables meet client and internal standards.
  • Track leads, booked calls, sales, traffic, and client sentiment, then act early when performance or retention is at risk.
  • Join important client meetings, present results, answer questions, and stay active in client Staff App threads.
  • Run weekly team meetings and fortnightly workshops on marketing skills and campaign quality.
  • Work with the Hiring Manager to interview candidates, shape role expectations, and onboard new team members.
  • Identify skill gaps, create training opportunities, and coach new hires through their first few months.
  • Build and refine SOPs, improve dashboards, and fix the bottlenecks that slow the team down.

Who we're looking for

  • At least two years of experience in operations, team leadership, or account management.
  • Experience in a digital marketing agency or a high-performance remote team is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, paid advertising, landing pages, funnels, lead tracking, and client reporting.
  • The ability to review marketing work and coach somebody toward a better commercial outcome.
  • Direct written and spoken communication, with the confidence to give and receive feedback without ego.
  • Strong organisation, accountability, and follow-through across several people and client accounts.
  • Confidence using or quickly learning Staff App, Google Workspace, HeyLogin, Google Meet, and marketing dashboards.

Accountability

How success is measured

  • Client retention stays at or above the 95% monthly target, with service risks identified before they become cancellations.
  • Client leads, sales, traffic, and campaign quality improve over time, with evidence that coaching contributed to the result.
  • Campaigns are reviewed before launch and published work meets JRR Marketing's internal quality standards.
  • At least 90% of team-wide KPIs are met and regular feedback loops are documented.
  • Clients feel informed through an active presence in their threads and important meetings.
  • Daily activities, check-ins, and performance actions stay visible in Staff App so nothing falls through the cracks.

Compensation and support

What you'll get

  • 100% remote work from the Philippines or South Africa.
  • Monthly performance bonuses of ₱5,000–₱10,000 based on team goals.
  • A finder bonus for successful candidate referrals who pass the required retention period.
  • Client referral bonuses for each new client you bring to JRR Marketing.
  • Health insurance available after 120 days.
  • Paid time off starting at five days and increasing by one day each year, up to 15 days.
  • Paid birthday leave plus Christmas and New Year company holidays.
  • Weekly coaching in both marketing and leadership.

What to expect from the work

  • This is a 40-hour-per-week leadership role. You'll have flexibility, but the team needs consistent availability, follow-through, and a leader who is visible when client or delivery issues arise.
  • Client work is tracked in Staff App and payroll time is logged in Trackabi. Time tracking is required for accurate client billing and payroll.
  • You'll be expected to flag problems, propose a fix, and own the outcome rather than waiting for somebody else to step in.
  • You'll work with real clients and team performance from day one. JRR provides SOPs, mentorship, one-to-one coaching, and AI-assisted systems, but the role demands quick learning and decisive action.
